Baggage Allowance for Children & Infants

When traveling with infants or young children, it’s important to understand the specific baggage allowances that apply.

Children aged 2–11 are entitled to the standard luggage allowance associated with their fare, as they occupy a seat. Infants under the age of 2, who do not occupy a seat, are not eligible for an additional luggage allowance.

However, each child—regardless of age—is permitted one collapsible stroller and one car seat at no extra charge. These items must meet the aircraft’s size and weight restrictions, meaning they should be compact and lightweight enough to fit in the cargo hold.

While these items are allowed as extra luggage for your child, they may still count toward the aircraft’s overall baggage capacity. In some cases, this could result in additional luggage being transported on a later flight.
